美企老板“华丽登场”悲剧：铁链突断，直堕身亡

在美国经营收益管理公司Vistex的印度籍老闆桑杰沙阿（Sanjay Shah），18日为庆祝公司成立，举办了派对活动，不料在其中一个环节，他准备从4.6米的高空垂降，却因支撑的链条断裂，直接坠地身亡。

桑杰沙阿将派对活动的地点，选在印度海得拉巴罗摩吉电影城（Ramoji Film City）。

18日晚上，他和公司总裁拉朱达特拉（Raju Datla）准备了一齣“华丽登场”桥段，两人先是进入一个大笼子内，接着由机器控制，预计将缓缓降落在讲台上，宣布活动正式开始。

不过悲剧意外就此发生，拉着笼子的铁鍊突然断裂，从舞台下方看，笼子大幅度地向左倾斜，接着直接将桑杰沙阿和拉朱达特拉“倒出”，两人在没有其他保护装置的情况下，直接从4.6米的高空摔落在水泥地面上。

事发后桑杰沙阿和拉朱达特拉被紧急送医抢救，最终桑杰沙阿伤重不治，拉朱达特拉则是身受重伤，至今未脱离险境。

桑杰沙阿来自孟买，是一位科技企业家，大学时赴美就读理学大学（Lehigh University），并创办了Vistex高阶主管学习与研究学院，为客户提供收入管理及金融分析的软体。

在获利之馀，桑杰沙阿还成立了基金会，替致力于健康、教育和基本需求的非营利组织提供捐款。而拉朱达特拉则是Vistex总裁，在2000年就进入公司任职。
