CPAA 飞扬艺术团will present the very best works, entitled "Eternal Moon River 千秋明月照山河", from Artistic Director Yong Yao 姚勇's 25-year choreography career to be present in San Jose and San Francisco. This production is a true East-meets-West innovative presentation of 21st century, given CPAA's unique approach to integrating the essence of traditional Chinese culture with contemporary artistic expression. The production will also be the fourth collaboration of CPAA and Ballet San Jose Silicon Valley. The collaboration has been praised by critics as seamless and world-class.
Eternal Moon River weaves ancient and modern music, western ballet and Chinese dance, and the joys and sorrows of people in different times and regions. With the cast of 30 Chinese dance and 16 ballet superb dances from CPAA and BSJSV, CPAA's 15th anniversary gala performance is certainly one of the most beautiful and vibrant productions ever created in Silicon Valley. It will be a treat for audiences of all ages and backgrounds in the entire Bay Area.

A ballet drama based on the moving love story of the blind folk musician Ah Bing in early 20th century.
