消息称，朱利安尼正在华盛顿乔治城大学医院（Georgetown University Hospital）接受治疗。

川普也在推特上发文，亲自证实了朱利安尼确诊新冠肺炎。而朱利安尼的儿子其后也在Twitter表示了感谢，并告知父亲目前状况良好。

川普在推文中说："至今最伟大纽约市长、不遗馀力揭露美国历来最腐败选举的朱利亚尼，中国病毒检测结果呈阳性。"他祝愿对方早日康复，说"我们会继续战斗"。
